1st International Community Health Conference (ICHC 2017)
It is our greatest pleasure to invite you to the first International Community Health Conference 2017 (1st ICHC 2017) which will be held in Primula Beach Hotel, Kuala Terengganu, Peninsular Malaysia from 7th untill 9th of October 2017.
This conference is organised by Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Health Sciences, Faculty of Pharmacy and Agropolis UniSZA in collaboration with Universiti Islam Malaysia and Dow University of Health Science in Karachi, Pakistan.
The conference theme is "Holistic Medicine for Quality of Life: Benefiting from Developing Knowledge". The theme was chosen to reflect the rising concern on deficiencies of current approach to health-care that generally focus on physical health. With increasing affluence and with diseases getting more complex, the society is looking and willing to pay for more. Ignoring this is not an option and the conference with the theme is therefore timely.
Holistic medicine is the art and science of healing of a person in total: physical, mental and spiritual. It integrates both conventional and spiritual therapies in promoting optimal health as well as treating diseases. This first International Community Health Conference will provide a platform where stake holders share their thoughts and experience towards the betterment of the quality of life of global community.
Let us gather and share our knowledge and experiences in holistic approach to medicine for the betterment of the quality of life of our fellow humans.
