Literary Fantasy and its Discontents

Defining fantasy as any departure from consensus reality (Kathryn Hume), we welcome papers that consider the fantastic as a (frequently politicized) literary genre or mode or fantasy’s broader meanings of delusion, unconscious wish, or falsehood.
