15th International Conference on Computing and Information Technology (IC2IT 2019)

The 15th International Conference on Computing and Information Technology takes place in a time of rough and fast changes and contributes to the solution of new kinds of problems scientists and engineers as well as users have to face. New computer interfaces as well as the abilities of machines and services offered drastically changed within the last few years. And this is only the beginning: the obtained research results let all of us expect more significant progress and challenges in our life within the next decade. A major contribution to these developments was brought about by achievements in the area of artificial intelligence. Machine learning, natural language processing, speech recognition, image and video processing are only the major research and engineering directions, which made autonomous driving, language assistants, automatic translation and answering systems as well as other innovative applications such as more human-oriented, new interfaces possible. Those changes also reflect economic changes in the world, which are increasingly dominated by the needs of an enhanced globalisation, world-wide cooperation (including its competitive aspects) and emerging global problems.
